The "Mental Health: It’s Part of All Our Lives" campaign is being conducted in California by the California Department of Mental Health (DMH). DMH oversees mental health services throughout the State, including the administration of four major State facilities. It has developed partnerships among mental health service providers and groups, creating interagency systems of care to help children and adults with mental illnesses.

The California Department of Mental Health strives to actively include stakeholders of mental health services in the development of all programs, including managed care, regulations, and patient’s rights. By doing so, DMH is able to provide accessible, effective, and culturally competent mental health services to all Californians. You can learn more about the California Department of Mental Health here, or by calling (800) 896-4042.
